1. Monday 4th August, 2014 – Resumption/Lectures begin.

2. Wednesday 6th August, 2014 – Uploading of 1st semester exam. Scoring Ends.

3. Wednesday 13th August, 2014 – Faculty Board of Examiners.

4. Wednesday 27th August, 2014 – Consideration of 1st semester Results by SENATE.

5. Monday 28th July – Sunday 24th August, 2014 – Registration of students (4 weeks).

6. Monday 8th September – Sunday 28th September, 2014 – Editing of Course Registration (3 weeks).

7. Friday 7th November, 2014 – Lectures End (14 weeks).

8. Monday 10th November – Friday 14th November, 2014 – Lecture Free week (1 weeks).

10. Monday 17th November – Friday, 28th November, 2014 – Examination in all Faculties (2 weeks).

11. Monday 1st December – Saturday 6th December, 2014 – Examination in all core courses in Faculty of (1 weeks) Education.

12. Saturday 6th December 2014 – Students Depart/End of Session.

UNILAG Student Shot By Unknown Gunmen

A final year Student of Philosophy in the University of Lagos was hit by a bullet fired by unidentified gunmen on Monday.

According to eyewitness a car was seen zooming off immediately after the shooting. It is suspected that the shot must have been fired by the occupants of the car.

Commenting on this, the Dean of Students’ Affairs of the University, Prof. Olukayode Amund, confirmed that Sapara was indeed shot and is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.

According to him investigations are on ground to uncover the perpetrators of the crime.

UNILAG Begins 2014/2015 Post-UTME Registration. See procedures & Date

This is to inform candidates who scored 200 and above and have made University of Lagos (UNILAG) their FIRST CHOICE Institution in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) that the 2014/2015 Post-UTME Forms is now on sale.

Registration form can be bought at the banks in the school for a total of N4,000.

The University of Lagos Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into ALL COURSES/PROGRAMMES for the 2014/2015 Academic Year will commence on Monday, July 21 and end on Thursday, July 24, 2014.

The Computer Based Test (CBT) Screening Exercise is in the Use of English, Mathematics and General Paper.

REGISTRATION:
The online registration of candidates for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise is scheduled to start on Thursday, July 3, 2014 and end on Wednesday, July 16, 2014.

Candidates are to pay the Screening Fee: N2,000 at the following banks:
 
ACCESS BANK, ECOBANK, FIRST BANK, GTBank, UBA, UNION BANK, WEMA BANK AND ZENITH BANK.

Post-UTME e-REGISTRATION SLIP:Candidates are to follow instructions for the registration as indicated
on the University website to print their e-registration slip for the screening exercise.

DATE OF POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE
The Post UTME screening exercise will take place from Monday, July 21 to Thursday, July 24, 2014.

OTHER SERVICES:
To prepare for the screening exercise, interested candidates may utilize the Online Practice Test (Optional) which is available at N2, 000:00.

ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES:
All candidates who scored 200 and above and have made UNILAG their FIRST CHOICE Institution in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) are eligible for the screening. In addition, candidates must possess five (5) credit passes in relevant ‘O’ level subjects including Mathematics and English Language at ONE sitting. Candidates awaiting results are also eligible.
Candidates, who will not be sixteen(16) years of age by October 31, 2014 are not eligible and need not apply.
