Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-ife has just released the resumption date for it 2013/2014 Academic session.
Students are expected to return to the hostels on Sunday 24th August, 2014 as academic activities will resume on Monday 25th August, 2014.
Other important dates on the calendar include;
i) 10th to 15th November, 2014: Lecture Free Week.
ii) 17th to 30th November, 2014: 2013/2014 Harmattan Semester Exams.
iii) 13th December, 2014: Harmattan Semester Ends.
iv) 15th to 28th December, 2014: Semester Break.
v) 29th December, 2015: 2013/2014 Rain Semester Resumes.
vi) 23rd to 30th March, 2015: Lecture Free Week.
vii) 31st March to 10th April, 2014: Rain Semester Exams.
viii) 18th April, 2015: 2013/2014 Academic Session Ends.
Important Notice: Fresh students comes into campus for 2014/2015 academic session on 3rd May, 2015.

This is to inform all candidates who took part in OAU post
UTME for 2014 that the result is out, Candidates can now check their result
online.
TO CHECK

2. On the page that loads up, select the task, "Check Post-UTME Result and Admission Status".
3. Enter your JAMB registration number in the space provided and click on "Submit".

OAU:2014/2015 PRE-DEGREE FORM IS OUT
OAU Pre-degree Admission Forms 2014/2015 - Now on Sale
OAU pre-degree form now on say, application is hereby
invited from qualified candidates for admission into the 2014/2015 Pre-Degree
program.
ELIGIBILITY
Eligible Candidates must possess minimum of 5 Credits in 5
subjects at a maximum of two sittings including English Language (for ALL
Courses), Mathematics (for Science-based and Social Science-based Courses) and
Literature-in-English (for Law).
DURABILITY
The programme normally runs for two (2) contact periods both
within nine (9) calendar months.

HOW TO APPLY
- Pay the Application fee of
₦15,000.00 through e-Tranzact Payment Platform at any branch of First
Bank, Skye Bank, Wema Bank or UBA Plc Nationwide. A Receipt which
contains a Receipt Number and Confirmation Order
Number will be given to you at the Bank. (Please note that Bank
charges apply and must be paid).
Alternatively, you can also pay the application fee through Interswitch Webpay Platform using your ATM or Debit Card. - Go to OAUCDL website: (www.oaucdl.edu.ng) and Click on: "2014/2015 Pre-Degree Application" and read the Instruction carefully. Create your account by clicking on "Apply Now!". You are to supply valid username, password, email address and other required information.
- After creating the Account, login back into your Account with your username and password.
- Click on your preferred Payment Method (either e-tranzact or Interswitch Webpay).
- Fill the online Application Form and upload your recent passport photograph. The passport photograph must meet the following specifications:
- The passport photograph must be coloured with white background (Black and white photograph is not acceptable).
- The passport must be recent (not earlier than 3 Months before the time of the application) and the size should not be more than 100KB.
- After filling the form, logout and keep your username and password safe. (Save your Username and Password on your Phone so as not to forget). Keep checking the website from time to time for the actual date of the entrance examination. In the meantime, you can take the practice examination to get familiar with Computer-based test.
General Information
- Applicants are to note that the 2014/2015 Pre-degree entrance exam will be computer-based. You are hereby advised to familiarise yourself with the basic use of computer.
- 2014/2015 Pre-Degree Applicants are advised to to be checking our website from time to time for the actual date of the Entrance Exam and other relevant information.
- All candidates are required to register for 2015 UTME during the Programme.
- All Candidates are required to use valid e-mail addresses and PERSONAL Telephone Numbers.
- The forms must be filled and submitted on-line either immediately or within 2 weeks of accessing the website. No downloaded or printed copies of forms will be accepted.
- Applicants are to note that 2014/2015 Pre-Degree Entrance Exam holds at Ile-Ife Centre only.
- Candidates are advised to follow the Application Instructions very carefully and ensure they select the Correct SUBJECT COMBINATION. Failure to do so may adversely affect the Candidate.

OAU:Post UTME 2014/2015 screening Details,Cut Off Mark And registration Details

Obafemi Awolowo university has commenced Registration For it
2014/2015 Post UTME and wishes to invite all student who applied for OAU in the
last UTME and scored above 200.
All candidates are required to register on-line on
eportal.oauife.edu.ng or www.oauife.edu.ng with a scratch card which is available
at a sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only. The scratch cards are
available from any of the under-listed banks and locations outside OAU Campus:

Fee Hike: OAU Students Stage Fierce Protest, Lock Down Entrance Gate
It has been confirm that students of the Obafemi Awolowo
University have today kick started a massive protest which as a source
said may last all through the week.
It was gathered that the protesting students locked down offices and buildings like the senate building, computer building and the main entrance gate that leads into the university campus.
The students have so far ignored the call of the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Professor Bamitale Omole who has asked them to stop the protest and accept the new school fees regime as it is meant to ensure that the students receive quality education
