The Admission form Western Delta University, Ogahra, Delta State for admission into the 2014/2015 academic session. Eligible candidates are invited to take part in the  2014/2015 Post Utme of the above mention institution.

The Western Delta University, Ogahra, Delta State, Nigeria, is a private University approved by the Federal Government on the 17th May, 2007, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Degree Programmes of the University for the 2014/2015 Academic Session.

ELIGIGBILITY

Intending students for the undergraduate programmes are those that have applied and written the 2014 UTME Examination and have obtained the prescribed National minimum cut-off score. Candidates who did not choose this University as their first or second choice can apply. Candidates for Direct Entry into the Degree Programmes are also requested to apply.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The minimum entry requirements for admission into Western Delta University are GCE O/Level, SSCE,.NECO or NABTEB credit level passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics and three (3) other relevant science or social science subjects obtained at not more than two sittings

DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES

Direct entry candidates are expected to possess a good Diploma (with minimum of lower credit), NCE (with minimum of merit), from recognized institutions OR 2 Advanced Level GCE passes in relevant subjects. Intermediate passes in ICAN, ACCA, ICMA and CIBN examinations are accepted for Accounting and Banking and Finance. Direct Entry candidates are expected to have obtained Direct Entry Admission Forms from JAMB.

METHODS OF OBTAINING FORMS

a. Interested candidates are to pay N8,500.00 (Eight thousand, five hundred Naira only) at any branch of the underlisted Banks nationwide:

b. Scan a copy of the payment teller, and send it with your mobile phone number to admissions@wdu.edu.ng
c. An email and text containing a Serial No and PIN will be sent immediately to you.
d. Thereafter, visit www.wdu.edu.ng/ewdu to login with the Serial No and PIN received from WDU
e. Fill the Application Form and submit online.
f. After submission, you are required to print the Acknowledgement Slip and come with it to the Screening Centre in the University.

b. Application Forms will also be available for sale on the day of screening at the Screening Centres.

SUBMISSION OF COMPLETED FORMS

Completed Application Forms, accompanied with copies of either the University’s receipts or Bank Tellers should be sent to the Registrar, Western Delta University, Oghara.

1st Screening Exercise: Saturday, 23rd August, 2014
2nd Screening Exercise: Saturday, 18th October, 2014
Venue: Auditorium Western Delta University, Oghara.

Note: Evidence of Purchase of Admission Form should be brought to the Venue of the Screening Exercise.

It is interesting to note that ALL the Degree Programmes run by this University are fully accredited by the NUC and within the period of six years, the University has turned out three (3) sets of graduates.
